Track stock and who changed it
An inventory system for pilots and engineers. Staff can check recorded stock levels and see who added, issued or corrected stock, and when.
What it does
The requirement was stock you can check without walking to the store, and a record of who changed it. Two people needing the same part on the same morning, and the question of what was in the store last Tuesday, both want an answer from a screen.
The records moved into software, and every change to stock — added, issued, corrected — is written to a log against the person who made it. "Do we have one" is answered from a screen, and "who changed this, and when" has an answer at all.
