Compare UAV routes across terrain
A planning tool that scores route options against terrain and other selected factors. It includes documentation of what the ranking is based on and what it must not be used to decide on its own.
What it does
A route is rarely a single best answer. It is a set of candidates, each better or worse depending on terrain, cover, distance and other factors that different people weigh differently. The tool scores those factors across the ground and ranks the options, so the trade-off being made is visible rather than implicit.
It ships with a written account of what the ranking rests on and what it must never be the only input to. A tool that ranks options invites you to stop thinking. Saying so in the documentation is part of the work, not a disclaimer attached to it.
